Stoneflex Soft Window A - Joints around doors and windows to protect polyurethane foam and ensure water vapor escape. One-component, plasto-elastic sealant for universal use that hardens due to the evaporation of water from the mass.

Application:

Surface preparation:

The surface must be clean and dry (free of ice), free of dust, rust, flaking pieces of old sealant, free of grease, oil, paint and other contaminants that reduce the adhesion of the sealant.

To avoid contamination around the seam and maintain a straight tear line, masking tape should be used, which must be removed immediately after the sealant application is complete.

The sealant does not require the use of a primer on most substrates, but on some specific surfaces it may be necessary to use one to improve adhesion.

In order to increase adhesion to porous surfaces, it is recommended to use a primer (a solution of acrylic in water in a ratio of 1:2.

Transportation and storage:
Store for up to 18 months in the packaging in a dry place, protected from frost and overheating, at a temperature of +5 °C to +25 °C.

Notes:

The sealant should not be used on bituminous surfaces, natural rubber-based surfaces, chloroprene or building materials that may release oils, plasticizers or solvents.

The sealant is not recommended for use on natural stone joints such as granite, sandstone, marble, etc.

The sealant is not recommended for use in joints that are permanently underwater, as physical changes may occur.

Not suitable for bonding aquariums and terrariums.

The sealant is not suitable for use in structural glazing.

The sealant cannot be used in contact with food or in medicine.

The product has not been researched or tested to suggest its use in medicine and pharmaceuticals.

It is recommended to perform a test before painting, especially in the case of solvent-based paints.

Do not use for PP, PE – no adhesion.

The sealant should not be used on sensitive metal surfaces, such as copper and its alloys.
