Combined hydraulic key KAB for sealing working joints of concrete
The KAB hydro-shpon is a sealing profile for construction joints that combines a thermoplastic tape and rubber that swells when in contact with water . This design provides a double level of protection against moisture penetration, making the system reliable even at high water pressure of up to 6 bar .
The KAB profile is designed for use in concrete structures - foundations, underground parking lots, tunnels, tanks, pools, treatment plants, etc. It prevents water leakage through joints and guarantees long-lasting waterproofing of the structure.

Installation of KAB: 
Before concreting, the profile is placed directly on the floor reinforcement and fixed with brackets.
The tape has a control strip (25–50 mm) that shows the correct installation depth.
Joints can be connected in three ways:

Electrothermal welding with prior removal of the rubber element;

Mechanical connection with terminal block ;

Overlapping of profiles (50 cm with an indent of at least 5 cm).
For places with high water pressure, it is recommended to use welding or terminal connections .
Corner and T-joints are made exclusively using a welding machine.
